Carolyn’s love of the eclectic came from spending many years living and working internationally. Becoming self employed in 2006, Carolyn initially focused on interior design and styling for residential projects before moving into larger building works. Having studied lighting design, she believes clever lighting can elevate any space and deliver high end results.
The History of Kolaris
Nik retired from Kolaris in 2024, after many happy years and successful projects. Carolyn and Nik founded Kolaris Design in 2015 having both worked separately in the industry. Their goal was to create a genuinely approachable company that would allow people to collaborate in order to express themselves within their homes.
